[/SIZE]Okay, I'm going to start this off with some handler info and things I want you guys to know. This will probably make me wildly unpopular, but please don't think I'm mean. I come across really firm and rude over the net, but I'm super sweet, I promise. But, with that said I need to lay down a few ground rules and things about me. First of all, I probably won't let you get away with anything and if I find something I don't like in a post you've made for me, I'll probably point it out and ask you to fix it before I reply. Sorry, I just won't let people get carried away and ruin rping for me (this has happened before). Of course, by that I mean it 's probably going to be something like accidental god-modding or something silly. I'm not a tyrant, I promise. ^__^ And a bit of a more friendly request, PLEASE let me know if you're mentioning Jack or the Pearl in a thread (obviously this doesn't apply if the thread is for me, but don't forget to tell me if you have a thread for me lol). I may ask you to change something or not mention him being in a certain place and please don't take offense to that. I know he's Jack and we all have love for him and feel like he's part of the whole plot, which he is and I respect that, but he is my character and I need to have some control over him. And one last thing, if I take more than three days to reply to a thread, please shoot me a pm to remind me. >____< I tend to get distracted easily so I forget when I'm supposed to be doing things. <3<3 Anyway...
Heeeeere's Jack! ^___^ You can click his sig to go to his profile and I recommend you check that out because I might not play him like you think. Anyway, for some basics: he's 30, a pirate...erm...he's very...Jack-like? Okay, seriously if you don't know what Jack's like you should just read his profile and reconsider why you're on a POTC forum.
Jack is an easy person to get along with, really. He's a bit enigmatic, but terribly funny and an all around good guy in the long run. Though he may seem like he's putting you in danger, he'll probably get you out of it before all is said and done. Friends of his have to be able to see past the slightly goofy persona he's erected for himself to the man underneath. They also need to understand that he can't be pinned down so you either have to come with him or settle for very poorly written letters.
You can check his family in his profile, they're all open. Just try to stay true to the canon ones, but other than that I don't really have any requirements. Just don't expect something warm and fuzzy because Jack isn't really close to his family. We might be able to work something out if you want to make a younger cousin or something like that. Really, he probably has extended family coming out the wazoo so go crazy with it, just let me know.
Ooooh, lovers. <3 Jack has these in oodles, I imagine. And as much as I hate to say it because I would love to play gay Jack, they probably need to be female. I'm not really opposed to a final, but we'd have to see where it goes and I'd have to think about it for a while. One this I will NOT do is develop a relationship within two or three threads. Jack doesn't do relationships so for him to commit to someone is a HUGE step and will take LOTS of IC AND OOC time.
