The journey from one side of the world to another took a good long while. Maybe half of a year or so, but for crew of The Poisoned Chalice the days went back so fast that it seemed like yesterday that they had left Ching’s Hidaway in the Pacific and now here they were sailing the Caribbean. They weren’t here to be beach bums or have a few drinks. They were here for a purpose. A purpose so great that the pirate realm was at risk again. Lord Beckett was sailing this way again for revenge. When that news got to the Hidaway, their Captain had no choice, but to ready the ship and Ching’s small armada and to sail towards Shipwreck Cove. Their Captain was the new Pirate Lord of the Pacific and even if the song hasn’t been sung yet. She was determine to be there when it was sung. No one could blame her since she had to travel a long way to get to her destination. Their Captain was standing at the helm near the wheel gazing out at the sea that she used to pirate upon a year or so ago. It was true their Captain and Pirate Lord was infact a woman. A woman that Mistress Ching had seen a very bright future but didn't mention that this woman was her successor until after her death.
Kate stood at the helm of her ship looking out at sea knowing that it wasn’t far until they reached Shipwreck Cove. She had missed these warm waters not that the Pacific’s was warm enough, but it was here that her pirate life had begun. Although, her Captain life didn’t begin until she was in the Atlantic where she killed the captain upon orders of her own and if it she received this ship as her own. The Isabella, the royal flagship of the Spanish Armada. Their prized Spanish Galleon was now in her hands as a grand pirate ship The Poisoned Chalice. She loved her ship dearly and those in her small armada that she inherited from Mistress Ching. Almost all of those were Chinese Junks, but there were a few sloops and a brig or two. She knew that with her armada behind her that if any passing ships saw this that they might think that the King of England or some other country was in town. That thought made her laugh. She was one of the few Pirate Lords that had a small armada and she was happy to have such a position, but it still didn't feel right. Still she chose to take it.
It was about dusk when the island of Shipwreck Cove came into view and the crew prepared to go through the dangerous Devil’s Throat passage which claim ships every year. Her ship barely made it through since it was so big, but once her ship cleared it. Kate’s eyes widen due to the magnificent ship structure of Shipwreck City. It still amazed her to this day. She gave out the order to drop anchor in the bay due that her ship was too big to pull up to the dock. Her crew prepared the longboats to row over to the docks, but before she left she made sure that her small armada was accounted for. She couldn’t bare to lose any ships. Not with the problem at hand. Kate left the ship in a long boat and was rowed over with her crew in the four longboats that her ship carried and pulled up the dock where they were tied down. Kate stood there for a moment still couldn’t believe that she was here again, but as a Pirate Lord. She had been here when Mistress Ching passed away and the title was passed onto her, but she still wasn't used to the title as of yet.
Giving her crew orders to stay near and well just to have fun. While they went off to the famous The Drunken Lady with others from the armada. She walked with the main five Captains to the Cutlass Tavern where the Pirate Lords visited. It was halfway packed, but no other members of the Court present. She had her name marked off and she was allowed in along with the Captains. She crossed over to the table where she was told Mistress Ching used to set at. Setting down she saw three of the Captains are elsewhere, two at the bar and one talking to people he knew. She looked at the two at her table, “Looks too upscale.” one commented about the upscale of the place which none of them where used to. “I know Ti Chang, but it’s where the Pirate Lords come. If this was my place we would be in the Drunken Lady by now, but I don't make the rules here.” Kate replied with a smile that caused some laughter between them as the other three came back with the drinks.
