PERSONALITY
Sapphira is at first a very kind and caring young person or mermaid however people see her. She is known to be very loyal to those that she knew and knows. Her alliance will always be the pirates due that she still considers herself a pirate eventhough she is now a mermaid. She is also loyal to the good type of mermaids that help each other and pirates not the kind that bring them to their watery grave. She is very creative and adventurious always going beyond Whitecap Bay to visit new places. Being both kind and caring that she was she still cares about the captain and crew of The Blue Sapphire that lost thier lives to Blackbeard's voodoo magic that fatefull night three years ago. She is still kind and caring to those that she knows including both her pirate and mermaid friends. Other then that she is a very helpful person. She would help those that needs it even to the point of going on land.
On a darker note. Sapphira is a very sensitive person and gets easily angered. If someone says something about the Blue Sapphire or it's crew she will go all out on that person. She is very determined to become a full human again even going to the point to kill Blackbeard herself for revenge on the Sapphire and herself. She holds a deep hatred for Blackbeard eversince he cursed her of having a life as a mermaid since she was the only female onboard the ship. She wants nothing more then to kill him. Other then that she is a very apologetic person always apologizing for things she didn't do even a silly question. She is all together a very sweet and sensitive person.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE;
As a human she stands about 5'6" and weights around 114 pounds. She has brown hair that is in waves down past her shoulders that matches her beautiful wide set brown eyes. As a human she tends to wear mainly loose and colorful simple dresses, but when she was a pirate she dressed in a loose white shirt, black pants and boots. She mostly kept her hair tied black and always carried a sword at her hip. She still has the sword in her posscession, but only carries in on land. On land she doesn't wear any shoes like most mermaids do, but on occassions she wears sandles that she personally made out of shells and seaweed.
As a mermaid, she is taller due to her tail. She stands from head to the tips of her tail at 11'5" and weights lighter at 74 pounds due that she is part fish. She is probably one of the most beautiful mermaids, although many are very beautiful in their own way. Sapphira's tail is a beautiful golden color that looks like it has been kissed by the sunset. She is the only known mermaid to wear a top which is also golden in a tank top sort of way. Her skin is tan and as a golden shimmer to it that is like jewels dancing underwater due to the sunlight's rays bouncing off of her. She doesn't wear any jewelry in her hair or on her skin.

BACKGROUND;
Born as Laura Rebecca Miller to her parents Rebecca and Charles Miller in the Colony of Georgia. She was the beloved child of her parents and the Miller family. Her father was a store owner that selled merchant goods to the town. Her mother, however, was a stay at home mother and was a pirate captain's daughter. Laura basically grew up on the coast of the Atlantic and would often visit her uncle Richard on a island nearby. She learnt everything about the sea life and her uncle taught her onboard his docked ship. Within a year after her parents sent her to a proper school where she could learn to be a lady. Although, pirate blood ran through her veins. She became quite a young lady until a surprise visit from her pirate grandfather John Stanton, Captain of The Blue Sapphire. She was surprised, but grew confusion when her mother and grandfather started argueing about her heritage. That night she learnt that she was of pirate blood and she was to be a pirate, but her mother with held her from that since she was after all her mother. It was late that night when Laura left her home feeling the heart to go to where she knew was right. Even after she left she knew that she wasn't doing much well at school since she was rebeled alot now that she was a teenager. She caught up to her grandfather, who welcomed her aboard the ship.
Over the next six years, she learnt what she needed to learn to become a pirate. She was known as a little spit fire always making sure that her grandfather's rules and orders were obeyed. She became a pirate herself in a few years. She learnt that her mother and father had another child named Amelia and that her Uncle Richard had passed away. Laura did go home once to find out that it only caused fights and arguements. So Laura went back to her grandfather's ship and sailed the seas with her only family onboard The Blue Sapphire. At the age of seventeen she became the Quatermaster of The Sapphire. It was only after her eighteenth birthday that Laura's world took a turn for the worse. On day about sunset the ship just stopped and before anyone could move the rigging on the ship came to life. Laura rushed her grandfather and herself into his cabin for safety, but soon zombies of those of Blackbeard's crew drug them out at gun point to come face to face with Blackbeard himself. Horrified as the crew was her grandfather tired to demand what was going on.
Laura was pinned back with the crew until Blackbeard pointed at her and her held seperate of her grandfather and his crew. Her grandfather begged Blackbeard to spare her life knowing that she didn't do anything, but she only knew that no one did anything wrong, but before anything could be said Blackbeard used his voodoo magic and had her thrown overboard only to become a mermaid. Only upon resurfucing she was horrified to see that the crew being killed and watching her grandfather be killed by Blackbeard she was so upset and angery that she tried to swim over there to the ship, but only to see it disappear and Blackbeard's ship sailing away. Laura was all alone in the world as a mermaid. She journied to Whitecap Bay which took her at least a few months to reach. She kept her alliance with pirates and the good mermaids that didn't drag men to thier watery graves. Laura became known as Sapphira in the mermaid world due to ship she had sailed on. She didn't stay in Whitecap Bay for too long. She and a small group of her mermaid friends traveled the Caribbean finding new places and things to collect. She did however meet pirates that became her friends on land.
Is now Sapphira is twenty years old and can be found in Tortuga on land and in the ocean. She is one of the most beautiful mermaids and she wants nothing more to become a human once more. She can be a human on land, but only for a while. She misses sailing the seas and wants nothing more into getting revenge for her grandfather and the crew of the Sapphire. She still goes by Laura, but she has grown used to her mermaid name Sapphira. She is still allianced with pirates and is probably the only mermaid that is allianced. She hopes to return to her full human self and find out where The Blue Sapphire is.
