this is miss elizabeth swann, except she hates being called that.
if it were up to her, she'd be called mrs. william turner ii, but she
is making do with what she has right now, which isn't much at all.
unlike everyone else, elizabeth isn't sailing around the ocean and
causing trouble. she's trying to establish a home for herself in
shipwreck cove and wait ten years for her fiancee to come back
and marry her. naturally, a woman of her spirit and daring isn't
easily tied down, and elizabeth is growing tired of her current
accommodations. she told will she wouldn't go sailing around but
let's face it. when has elizabeth been good at following orders?
so elizabeth is getting antsy, and i figure she needs something to
get herself off of dry land and onto a ship again. i could say
something like she got sick of waiting and went off, but if we can
come up with something cooler with an intense plot twist, then
i'd rather go for that instead. anything to get elizabeth into trouble.
in the meantime, she'll probably pester any pirate that sails into
the cove for news of the outside world. she might be landlocked,
but she's still interested in what's going on in the pirate world.
she'll need friends, for starters. elizabeth is opinionated and
she'll tell you exactly what she's thinking but as long as you can
take a little criticism every once and a while, you'll be fine. she's
terrible at taking it back, but i suppose you can't have everything.
as for enemies, i'm sure she's got a few of those. yeah,
i'm looking at you, navy. she doesn't like or trust anyone working
for the crown. the east india trading company is also high up on
her list of things she detests. pirate hunters disgust her. not that
all her enemies are loyal to the crown. she's risen very high very
quickly in the pirate world, and that's bound to have rubbed a
few people the wrong way, especially because she's a woman.
then there's lovers - this is barely a category. she's waiting
for will turner to come back to her so they can be properly wed.
it's very difficult for a woman like elizabeth to wait around, but
she's trying. she won't be coupling up with anyone else unless will
does something to make her totally hate him, but chances of that
happening are probably very unlikely. you can crush on her if you
wanna, but she'll throw herself off a rampart if you try to propose
just kidding. maybe.
eventually when she gets back on the ocean, she'll need a crew,
but we've probably got at least a few threads before that happens.
