PERSONALITY
Angelica is an experienced pirate. She is a good sailor, tactician and swordswoman. She is a good liar, and a schemer. From her time at the convent she retained a strong faith. However, she applied her belief illogically. One of her strongest motivations was to see her father, Blackbeard save his soul from damnation. But she does not succeed in making him behave in a fair, or kindly manner. She seemed to be completely blind to the fact that her father is not interested in saving his soul.
A master of disguises, Angelica learned the art of the con from the best, one Captain Jack Sparrow. She was defined as being a woman who often tells lies that are truths and truths that are lies. She is tricky and quick witted, as befitting any pirate, although her sense of faith and disapproval of her father's methods imply a compassionate side. Angelica also has a sense of humor, demonstrated most aptly in her spit fire banter with Jack Sparrow.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE;
Angelica's facial features are slender. Her nose and mouth are quite petite but her eyes are large and almond shaped. Even with her big eyes, her features are somewhat generic, letting her disguise herself if she needs to, even as a man. She has an almost invisible scar under her left eye that is about an inch and a half in length.
Angelica has a small tattoo on the upper left side of her cleavage. It is an alteration of the symbol for the Haitian Voodoo Goddess, Erzulie; she is the spirit of love and beauty. Also, Angelica has another tattoo on her right hand of a crucifix.Medium-length dark brown, in flowy waves, a little past her shoulders with a side part. Angelica usually wears it down and loose with a hat or bandana but pulls it up if there is a lot of wind.Angelica is of Spanish and English decent. The English comes from her father and Spanish from her mother. She also has a thick Spanish accent and speaks in Spanish when she is angry.

WHAT'S YOUR STORY, SAILOR
FAMILY;
Captain Blackbeard: Father:
Mother: Unknown
BACKGROUND;
Angelica is the daughter of the pirate Blackbeard and an unknown mother. Not much is known about her early life, other than that she spent time in a convent. This was where she met Jack Sparrow, who convinced her not to take her vows. She decided to become a pirate, when she found out that her father was Blackbeard. She searched for him, and once she found him, she introduced herself as his daughter and became first mate.
During a raid with her father, they picked up Philip, a missionary. Because of Angelica's faith, she requested that they keep Philip in order to save her father's soul. Now she, and the crew search for the fountain of youth...This would seam to have a chance of succeeding when they bring Jack Sparrow onto the ship.
They meet up with Jack with the silver chalices who requires his compass before handing them over, Angelica tosses it to him and they head for the Fountain, but not before Jack warns that the one-legged man is near. They follow as Jack leads them into a cave with water on the ceiling. Having her doubts, Angelica questions him about being to the Fountain and Jack avoided the question but he pulls through and leads them to the secret entrance. All of the pirates go through and the Fountain of Youth is revealed. Moments after, Barbossa appears behind Blackbeard and a fight starts between everyone. Angelica makes it a point to get the chalices ready and calls Scrum to help. She takes the chalices to the stream of water and tells Scrum to follow her with the tear. Jack stops him but Angelica intervenes. They drop the chalices and all three scramble to get them but Jack gets to them. Moments after, the Spaniards arrive. The fighting stops and the Spanish soldiers notice Jack with the chalices. He shoves them into Angelica's arms and they ask for them. She doesn't move but they take them from her. They stomp on them and throw them into a deep pool of water.

ROLE PLAY EXAMPLE;
The cold air hit her as soon as the door was opened. The brig wasn’t too far from where Angelica slept, and she knew that she needed to get food to the missionary. She was the only one aboard the ship who wished him well. The others thought he was a waste of time, that he had no right to be there. This was Angelica’s chance to save her father. Keeping this missionary alive and aware would make her stay at the convent worth everything.
Angelica snuck into the brig, rations in hand. The ship was dead silent; any noise could wake up a watchman and blow everything. Philip was a good man; he knew the risks of her being there. Her father didn’t want him here, he was lucky that she was risking this. As she handed him the food, she listened to him carefully. She blushed once or twice; Angelica wasn’t used to this kindness out on the seas. The men were always so rough, even though she was the captain’s daughter.
“I’m sorry, Philip. I couldn’t just take off like that. My father needs me. I know he’s difficult, but I know there’s good under all that dirt. He’s a pirate. He’s Blackbeard, he’s going to be hard to change,” Angelica said, leaning back in her chair a bit, “and I know you’re trying. You’re trying so hard, I can see that. I thank you for that.” She sighed, standing up and walking to a small circular window. The sea was rocking hard; she could hear footsteps above her head, where the crew was sleeping. “I have not known my father for long, and I want to make up for that time.”
Angelica looked over at Philip, “If my father catches me down here, there’s very little hope of me being able to leave me room. I’m trying to make this a bearable as possible for you. I hope you’re not too hungry, I can’t get much more food. I asked father if you could be let out, but he thinks you’ll infect the ship with your faith or some such talk.” Angelica stood across from Philip, smirking.
