PERSONALITY
First of all, Elizabeth Swann is a strong willed woman, as she has proven on more than one occasion. After all, how many eighteenth century women actually dress up as a boy and turn to a life of piracy to find the man they love? She strives for independence, and by the strength of her will has a way of getting what she wants. Giving up isn't something she's very familiar with. Hence, determination can also be added to the list of her (maybe not so desirable) traits. But she's got more. She is fairly (or very, depending who you ask) beautiful, but you shouldn't be fooled. Both beauty and brains are present in this fierce young woman. As you might imagine by now, she's also pretty resilient. For a properly raised and educated woman of higher class, her life has been rather tumultuous the last few years. Almost drowning, getting abducted by pirates, thrown off a ship, stranded with the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow, arrested on her wedding day and being told she would be executed, escaping, seemingly losing her fiancée and much, much more, it's easy to see it's hard to break her spirit. Going on is something she always though, despite losing a bit of her 'happy-go-round' behavior. Usually, she can be found with a smile on her lips or in her eyes, because she used to have a positive outlook on life.
Don't let that fool you; even a sweet beautiful woman like she is can have darker sides, though they come with a price. Although she isn't eager to show them, when necessary she will. Her determination helped her become quite a good sworswoman, and in her loyalty to those who have earned it, she is not afraid to force others to 'sacrifice' themselves. She's nearly always capable of keeping up polite conversation and a genuine-looking smile, due to the way her father raised her. However, there's one thing she didn't quite managed to learn properly - keep her big mouth shut. Because, to be honest, she can be pretty blunt and straightforward, which pretty often isn't the best course of action. This tomboy-ish figure doesn't care for that though. Although dressing up and maintaining the façade of rich lady is fun, it's not who she really is. She's charismatic, courageous and resourceful, and if necessary can take hold of the reins. Or sails.
PHYSICAL APPEARANCE;
This blonde woman is, in appearances, a true noble lady. Or a pirate gal - it really depends on her day.
Rather tall for a lady of this day and age, Elizabeth stands at a five foot seven and weighs approximately 120 to 125 pounds. Correct, she's somewhere between terribly slim and thin in - not much fat on her body, that's for sure. The flesh she has on her body, is mainly muscle. Her skin, once creamy and unblemished, has since she met a certain Jack Sparrow gained a warm sun tan and a few blemishes in the form of scars from fights fought on land or sea. However, the tan suits her, and although she never lacked confidence, she now is totally at ease with her not-so curved body. Although, in all honesty, it might not be incredibly curved, she is good-looking.
Or, depending on who you ask, beautiful and gorgeous. Especially in her tailored dresses to the latest fashion. She doesn't wear a corset too often, as she has had a few bad experiences with them. Her other styles of dress are more for pirate days. It's either a 'cabin boy disguise', simple red and white, or the more elaborate and 'chique' Chinese-styled outfit. It's more functional on ship and sea, of course, and frankly said Elizabeth likes it. Generally speaking, she prefers rather simple clothes, and not all the mish-mash and extensive decorations the dresses usually have.

ROLE PLAY EXAMPLE;
The fair young woman was standing on the bow of the ship, salty breeze playing with her long blonde hair as her eyes searched for something she could and would not find. Because it was such a simple thing she wanted, yet his task made it impossible to get what she wanted. It was something Elizabeth wasn't particularly used to, nor fond of. She was not just a girl, and yes, she had been spoiled by her father. Nevertheless, it was undeniable that although spoiled, Miss Swann wasn't a softy. Not anymore.
Her dark eyes swept over the sea again, taking in the untamed beauty of the large body of water as well as the dark clouds gathering at the horizon. A weather eye on the horizon seemed to be a good expression; although no seaman herself, one needed not to be too experienced to foresee that some rough weather was coming. Still, she had survived a few storms on sea, including getting caught in a maelstrom - on purpose. It was safe to say that her last few experiences on sea had been with... Unorthodox captains. Yet she had survived that. Ten years without Will should be doable then too, even if it hurt sometimes. Most of the time.
Yet he had has destiny, and now it was time for her to find her niche in that, even if only for the next ten years. Which, frankly said, looked like an eternity. She had wondered, multiple times, if she couldn't become part of the crew, but apparently that was impossible. A sad expression flashed across her pretty features as her eyes glazed over, tired from the staring in the hope to see a familiar silhouette at the horizon, or even the green flash that oftentimes signaled the return of the Flying Dutchman to the land of the living. Any sign of life would do, but Elizabeth was fairly sure that would not happen now either.
