so, you want to play a canon...

That's fantastic! You totaly should. ^__^ This is just a little spam to let you know how I see Jack and some of the other important canons. You don't have to play them like this, obviously and you can change anything you want and we can even talk to discuss their relationship. This is just in case I'm not on and you wanted my opinion. I go mainly by the movies, but I might just have a different take on someone, who knows.

jack && will

I see Jack and Will as really good friends. They've been through a lot together and there is some mistrust between them, but only to the extent that they know that they're both capable of doing anything to get what they want most. However, they're pretty much past all that now and they tend to work together more often than not and go to one another for advice. In act, I bet we could think of something really cool that Jack uses to signal Will if he needs him. I've said that Will has asked Jack to look after Elizabeth so I imagine Will pops up out of nowhere to scare the bejeezus out of Jack and find out news and whatnot.

jack && beckett

Jack and Beckett are basically mortal enemies. There isn't the joking that he can have with Norrington and there isn't any pleasantry at all. At this point, Beckett has no interest in capturing Jack. He's out to kill and determined to do so properly. So, I don't think there would be much conversation between them unless you wanted them to have a chat in between each swing of their swords. Haha We can work on that a bit if you want to expand their relationship, but that's kind of the gist of it.

jack && gibbs

I love Gibbs. <3 He is Jack's oldest and most trusted friend and though he seems to treat him kind of poorly, that's just the manly pirate way. I think deep down Gibbs knows that Jack would do everything he could for him and really appreciates him. He trusts him with almost everything even though he tends to be more careful since he's been mutinied on and had his ship stolen several times.

jack && calypso

Jack and Tia Dalma have some history which we can hash out or leave ambiguous, doesn't matter. He didn't really do much in the way of freeing her so she probably wouldn't be grateful to him, but I would consider them sort of friends so they would get along rather well. I can imagine them talking here and there and each going to the other when they need something. Maybe Jack goes to her and as payment he owes her a favor and then she could come to him. Though, I cannot imagine what friggin' Calypso would need Jack for, but we can think about that. lol

jack && daddy

Captain Teague is Jack's father (in case you didn't know that) and they have what I consider to be a typical father/son relationship. They aren't terribly close, but they do keep in touch (somehow) and Teague tells him about what's going on at Shipwreck Cove. He even comes to help him out when he thinks he's in real danger so we could maybe have them sailing together for a while. For other plotting between them, it really depends on what you're doing with Teague and where he's going to be. I don't have much of an opinion about it since they're not that close.

jack && blackbeard

Well, after Jack sinks his ship I imagine he's pretty annoyed. So, Jack is running from him until he can figure out a way to defeat him. I don't really have an opinion on how he's played or what he's doing or anything other than that I imagine he's trying to find a new ship and Jack. lol I think I would want to wait for a while before they have any interaction unless it's just a tiny run-in after which one of them runs away for some reason or another.

jack && angelica

Well, after everything that happened in Florida and Jack sinking her father's ship I think they probably have a pretty complicated relationship. There is some lingering feeling between them and they're definitely attracted to one another so we could try to have them in a fling here and there. Otherwise I think they're a little bit enemies because A is loyal to Blackbeard, but Jack will keep trying to prove that she should leave him and probably attempt to convince her to come on the Pearl with him.

jack && the other pirate lords

Jack has said that he owes all of them money. So, I think he has a history with all of them (except the successors of course, though he could have history with them too if you want) and it ended badly. At least, Jack probably either stole something or ran out on a debt or didn't pay his gambling fees or something silly because that's very like Jack. I don't have an opinion on what it was really so just let me know if you have an idea for any of them and we can work it out.

So there you have it. ^___^ Like I said these are "more like guidelines" so feel free to pm me or catch me on the cbox or post here and we'll talk about it.
