I won't spend ages going into who James is because you already know him.
However, what I would love to do is go into what sort of plots I would love
to get him involved with. He's open to any sort of threads, so long as we're
able to find some feasible decent reason for them to meet. I ought to warn
you in advance that, with the exception of Jack Sparrow, James will arrest
any pirates he meets on sight. Unfortunately, it's my belief that OC pirates
shouldn't be better at escaping or be better pirates than Jack so we won't
be able to get around this by saying 'they'll just get away from him'. Sorry!
After all, James is regarded as the scourge of pirates and most pirates are
actually frightened of him as stated in the Essential Guide to Pirates of the
Caribbean. As such, I'd consider it power-playing to have any of them just
escaping from him - let's stick to canon, OK? :-] Other than that I'm really
open to anything, so let's plot away and have an awesome time! Yay ^_^

FRIENDS

I lol'd even just writing that word up there about James. Let's face it; he
really isn't going to have any sort of relationship that could be described
as friendship. This is excepting Lieutenant Gilette, of course; please have
a look at my Wanteds advert for more details. Otherwise, I think it'd just
have to be sort of upper-class acquaintance-type things. Hit me with it!

ENEMIES

Aha! I expect the replies for this section will be much more plentiful. As I
said above - James is famous for being the scourge of Caribbean pirates.
That is, after all, part of why he was promoted to Commodore in the first
place. As such, pirates can count themselves in - so can Elizabeth and,
even more so, Cutler Beckett and his associates. It's really up to you! :]

COLLEAGUES

If you fancy making a member of the Navy, then feel free to have them
serving on James' ship, the H.M.S. Fortitude! He's actually quite a good
boss - if you're not work-shy or often drunk, naturally. You'd be fired if
you were! Other high-ranking members of the Navy are also welcome; I
imagine they'd get along fairly well with one another. As I said, he's not
a bad Admiral to serve under; I imagine he'd be regarded as overserious
at the worst. Am I allowed to repeat PLEASE SOMEONE TAKE GILETTE?

ROMANCE

I would really like to keep this open until Gilette pops his pretty head in
but if he turns up and doesn't want the plot I suggested in my Wanted
ad then this will be re-opened. I'm picturing a marriage just for the sake
of saving face. Maybe we could do that anyway but we'll come to all of
this later on in the plot.

Hey there! I'm definitely keen to plot and post, though Gwen is a kinda-pirate so I'm not sure how it will pan out! Basically she stowed away her dad's ship at age 12 and was branded a pirate by the EITC at 16 even though she was pretty much on the ship because her father found her useful. Not too long ago she led a mutiny against her father and took the ship. Since the ship has been in her control she's mainly been picking over shipwrecks for any treasure left behind and trying to outrun pirates who'd like to pick her ship over! She tore out a bit of the ship's hull trying to navigate a reef and her ship is now beached not far from the Port Royal docks... for an astronomical price. XP

So... she's not a pirate in the strictest sense, but I doubt she'd feel comfortable around the Navy if you know what I mean! I'm open to anything plot-wise, whether he would hassle her to get her ship out of Port Royal (even though she can't afford to fix it in a snap) or if you'd like to plot him arresting her or whatever - maybe he can be annoyed because he has no reason to arrest her (yet) and so is breathing down her neck waiting for her to slip up? Let me know what you think.
