__CHARACTER REGISTRATION *
Here is the sweet, short, simple, and easy steps when it comes to applying to the site! There are three parts before you are able to role play. One: make a biography, Two: make it convincing, and Three: get your application approved.
CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY :: The biggest, and really simple, hurtle you have to jump before your character is accepted, is getting approved. So, what you want to do is get those creative juices flowing. If you suddenly have a lack of inspiration, look on you tube and watch a little POTC. After all, you will need that creativity. Creating a character for 'AABoR' is as easy as one, two, three. But, before getting to the juicy insides on your character, you will have to fill out the simple questions of, yes, no and a couple one word answers.
After having wasted a couple seconds of your life finishing the simplest part of the biography, you're going to move onto the bigger and longer part of the biography; the History. The history plays a giant part of who your character is, who they were, and what they will become. Pursue their lifelong ambitions and live their life the way you should. Maybe your character lived a rich, happy and full life? Or maybe they lived a tragic fairytale, only to be relived and reinvented by yourself. Be descriptive, if you have to, make a small log on a piece of paper, write in point form, their age and a small thing that happened, it helps, greatly.
Your characters all have some sort of physical description. So, make a small mental note on exactly what their celebrity looks like. If you have to, look up a picture of that certain celebrity, write down their physical descriptions in point form, and follow through in further detail when you write the application.
You will then be asked a simple question of how your character is, their base of a personality. From the root of your mind, walk a mile in their shoes, while encountering best friends, rivals, parents, siblings, whoever you can think of, and just imagine how they would react amongst themselves.
After finishing that part, you will be asked to list your character's family. Even if they didn't know them, it is mandatory for a full list of their biological parents, as well as any other siblings. A full family tree is not needed, and will be disregarded. Prior to having completed your family, you would have been asked to specify who you play. If you plan on playing a female pirate or a captain, please check the list (Click Here), to see if there are any available spots on the list. If there is not, you may have to wait for a spot opening in the near future.
And the last question is, pirates or Ninjas?
After you're finished all of these things, please note that some of the administrators might not be online, so just be patient, as you will have your guarantee within 24 hours prior to character creation. If your biography isn't accepted within 24 hours, it is most likely still in the pending board, where it will need some tweaking before being accepted. A staff member will have posted what you still need to do before your biography is accepted.
